Alan Bersin, a former Assistant Secretary for Homeland Security, and others warn against the destruction of confidence between the US and Mexico and call on all parties to invest in what they say is the most important relationship for both countries. Political scientist David Shirk of the University of San Diego and security analyst Guillermo Valdes of of Grupo de Economistas y Asociados of Mexico follow with presentations on the Merida Initiative and other programs aimed at enhancing security and building prosperity in North America.
