Donna Hirschfelt, County Director and Farm Advisor, Amador County, UC Cooperative Extension, introduces a class of UC Master Gardener students to the home vineyard. Topics include the types of grapes, considerations for good growth, planting, training, the reproductive cycle, pests and diseases, and the differences from commercial practices. This 90-minute presentation was recorded in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California.
