How Does the Brain Really Work?

We know that our brains are at the core of cognition, communication and expression.However our understanding of the way our brains work is remarkably primitive and much of what neuroscientists know has not been made accessible to scholars in other fields. It is important to tackle the large-scale problem of making detailed measurements on a global scale in the brain at the single cell level and the millisecond time scale. (#27882)
