From the Titanic to the Tiny - Perspectives on Ocean Science

April 2012 marked the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. Join Scripps oceanographer Jules Jaffe as he recounts his experience as a member of the science team at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution that discovered the wreckage in 1985. Since joining Scripps, Jaffe has developed a number of underwater optical imaging systems that have offered unique views of a variety of organisms that live in the ocean. Jaffe describes his past and ongoing projects and explains how his work helps provide new insights into marine ecosystems. (#23549)
