UC San Diego founder and former Scripps Director Roger Revelle was a world-renowned scientist and is considered one of the true pioneers of climate change research. Revelle revolutionized how we think about the ocean, earth, and climate, and how science and technology can benefit society. As such, the Roger Revelle Centennial Symposium honors Revelle's legacy and highlights the influence his work continues to exert upon the scientific community and society at large.
